Old Bridge, NJ –  August 22, 2019 – The Old Bridge Public Library will host the following health and wellness-related programs in September:

The WISE Program: A Wellness Series for Seniors: Monday, Sep. 16 – Oct. 21 at 11am. This six-week wellness and prevention series for older adults will provide valuable information on topics including nutrition and exercise, medication use, stress management, depression and substance abuse. It will be presented by the Wellspring Center for Prevention, a local non-profit, community-based health organization, which provides prevention, education and referral services to residents of Monmouth and Middlesex counties. Stop Surviving, Start Thriving: Thursday, Sep. 19th at 7:30pm. Registered Dietitian Janet Blum and Board-Certified Wellness Coach Jackie Catalano will present this useful session exploring how nutrition and healthy habits can ensure a better quality of life with less stress and better sleep. They will provide tips and strategies to help foster a healthy mind, end the diet cycle and create a life in motion. All attendees will receive a free virtual wellness assessment and a list of healthy/balanced 100 calorie snack ideas.

The Old Bridge Public Library has consistently been voted one of the three Best Public Libraries in Middlesex County by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
