Old Bridge, NJ –  March 22, 2019 –  The Old Bridge Public Library will host public sessions with the staff of congressman Frank Pallone (D-NJ Sixth District) and with the Friends of the Library volunteer group in April.

On Monday, April 1st from 1-6pm, staff members from Congressman Pallone’s office will be available at the Library to meet with constituents to discuss legislative concerns and issues related to federal agencies. No appointment is necessary.

On Thursday, April 4th, there will be two open public meetings hosted by the Friends of the Old Bridge Public Library. At 11am, there will be an election of officers, and at 6:30pm, a volunteer recruitment session with refreshments.  These are opportunities for patrons to learn about the group and its activities and inquire about ways of getting involved. As a membership incentive, the Friends will offer a 50 percent membership discount during the month of April. 

The Old Bridge Public Library has consistently been voted one of the three Best Public Libraries in Middlesex County by the readers of the Home News Tribune. The Library is open seven-days-a-week and is located at 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Rt. 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center.
