Old Bridge, NJ – July 24, 2018 – The Old Bridge Public Library has partnered with the Kidz Hub Media Network to host a Regional Film Festival at the Library on Friday, August 10th from 4-8:30pm. The event is free and open to the public and tickets are not required.
The festival will screen films submitted by international youth under the age of 25 in five categories: Short Film, News Segment, Movie Review, Commercial and Music Video. Kidz Hub received over 700 submissions for the festival and prizes will be awarded during this red carpet event. The selections will be judged by a panel which will include actor and NJ native Raw Leiba, who has appeared in numerous films including Tut, Limitless and The Heat, and was the winner of TLC’s reality action show Help Wanted, a spin-off of ABC-TV’s The Next Action Hero.
The Kidz Hub global mission is to train and mentor youth to be Junior Broadcasters and provide various outlets for them to engage the world. Through mentorship and training and the Kidz Hub Kollege online training portal, young people can connect, learn and work collaboratively on projects. The ever-expanding global initiative seeks to cultivate global learners with an acute cultural awareness. Kidz Hub Media Network is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
