Old Bridge, NJ – Sept. 7, 2016 – The Old Bridge Public Library has announced the winners of its summer reading photography contest. The contest was open to children and adults and prizes were awarded to those entries that best reflected the summer reading themes of “Exercise Your Mind” and “On Your Mark. Get Set. Read!” Winners received frames, scrapbooks, flashdrives and various Library-logoed items.

First Place Award: Adult Category. Old Bridge resident Mahmoud Samra’s entry was titled, “Friends reading newspapers in front of Patel Brothers store.”

First Place Award: Ages 12 and under category. 11-year-old Old Bridge resident Malina Alwis’ photo entitled, “Dog Days of Summer Reading.”

The Old Bridge Public Library was recently voted “Best Public Library in Middlesex County” by the readers of the Home News Tribune. The Library is open seven-days-a-week and is located at 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Rt. 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center.
