  • Dec. 5th at 6pm – “Create a Basic Website

This session will explore simple methods of creating a website. It will examine two free services — WordPress and Wix — that allow users to start a website in minutes.  The class will show how to customize sites for free, and share thoughts, interests or businesses on the worldwide web.

  • Dec. 12th at 6pm – “Explore Windows 10”

  • Dec. 14th at 11am – “Language Learning Resources Online”

This class will explore the Library’s three online resources available to help patrons learn a new language. Muzzy Online is geared for children of all ages, and is modeled on the way people learn their first language — without memorization and drills.  Muzzy offers lessons in Spanish, French, German, English, Italian and Mandarin.  Pronunciator offers instruction for over 80 languages for English and non-English speakers. It is appropriate for toddlers and up, thanks to photos and pictograms. Rosetta Stone offers innovative, personalized language and reading programs. Founded in 1992, Rosetta Stone’s language division uses cloud-based solutions to help all types of learners read, write, and speak more than 30 languages.

  • Dec. 18th at 11am — “Organize Music and Movies with Plex”
